What is ECM delete tuning? 

ECM delete tuning is modifying the software inside the ECM in order to eliminate the need for emission components.
Along with that we can modify fuel & other power/fuel economy related settings.
After we finish loading our delete tuning software, there will be no more error codes for bypassed aftertreatment systems (DPF EGR DEF SCR).

ECM Tuning - how is it done? 

All delete tuning we offer is done ONLINE.
There is no down time at all.
You hook up to a truck using diagnostic adapter(Nexiq USB Link supports all brands), and send us remote access to Your PC, and we do the job for You.

For remote access we are using a program called Team Viewer.

What are the requirements for ECM tuning? 

In order to do online ECM tuning, You need following:

  • laptop
  • internet connection
  • diagnostic adapter
    We recommend Nexiq USB Link which can work with all brands.
    Check the page of the specific brand in order to get details which adapters are supported.

Warranty - What do we provide?

We've been in this business for more than 12 years, and in all those years we kept our reputation flawless.
Our tunes work perfect - everyone who used them, can tell You that.
If there are any issues with emission systems (DPF/EGR/DEF/SCR) while using our tunes, we will address to them immediately or refund the money.

Warranty doesn't cover following cases:

  • ECM replacement or failures
  • software update performed by dealer
  • readout/cracking attempts

Which modifications do I need to do on the truck after EGR DEF SCR DPF delete?

After doing a EGR DEF SCR DPF delete tuning, the only things required are :

  • bypassing all filters on the exhaust (You can make straight pipe exhaust, or hollow out existing filters)
  • blocking off EGR with steel plates (to prevent exhaust gases going to EGR tubing & back to intake)

Keep in mind that these tunes are intended for off-road usage only, make sure to respect all the laws & check our disclaimer.

Do I have to replace my turbo after doing a EGR DEF SCR DPF delete? 

Our delete tunes DO NOT REQUIRE replacing turbos, You can leave standard turbo(VGT or VNT) on it, and everything will work perfect.

Can you delete the VGT/VNT turbo from the ECM?

In case You are interested we are able to provide VGT to old-fashion turbo conversion, as well as the Twin Turbo to Single Turbo conversions.
These modifications will require replacing the turbo with the old style one, along with ECM tuning.
The ECM will no longer report codes for turbo actuator, or for turbo speed sensor.

What is the best diagnostic adapter for ECM tuning & heavy duty diagnostics?

Both USB Link 1 & USB Link 2 are supported by us.
In 99% of the cases we can use truck's diagnostic port (6 or 9 pin Deutsch round connector).

What do the acronyms stand for?

DEF = Diesel Exhaust Fluid, which is also called UREA or AdBlue in Europe DPF = Diesel Particulate Filter
DOC = Diesel Oxidation Catalyst
SCR = Catalyst, a filter which is used on EPA10 and newer trucks, it goes after DPF
EGR = Exhaust gas recirculation

Does DPF delete get rid of DEF and SCR?

Yes it does. When deleting the DPF, the DEF and SCR get deleted as well.
Keep in mind beside the DPF filter, You will have to bypass(or hollow out) SCR filter as well.

Does DPF delete get rid of EGR?

In most of the cases yes. When deleting the DPF, the EGR gets disabled as well.

Does DPF delete give more power? 

Yes it does. Your engine will have free flow exhaust with no restrictions.
That will be beneficial to MPG score, throttle response, and over all power.

Does EGR delete give more power?

Yes! Exhaust gases will no longer be recirculated back into intake, and engine will be using fresh air(oxygen) for combustion process.
This will be very beneficial to engine life.
It will also improve MPG score, throttle response, and over all power.

Can you remove DPF without remap/tuner/tuning?

No, You can not remove DPF without modifying the ECM software.
You have to get the ECM tuned for DPF delete (DPF off).
Otherwise Your engine will be stuck in derate mode, and it will not be usable.

How do I delete a DPF?

There are two main steps in doing DPF delete:

  • ECM delete tuning
  • Modifications on truck exhaust

After You tune the ECM, You will have to either bypass or hollow out DPF.
Since the regen function is disabled, DPF must be removed in order to prevent clogging up & causing exhaust restrictions.

Can I delete DPF with no modifications on my truck?

The answer is NO! Do not get fooled by people claiming that You can!
As You know the DPF is doing the regen process quite often, and since the DPF delete will turn the regen process off, there will be nothing that will clean the DPF. That will cause smaller or bigger exhaust restriction which will affect MPG, engine life & power.
We know this is probably not the answer You want to hear, but it is HONEST & TRUE.

If You turn off DPF in Your ECM software, You will have to either:

  • hollow it out
  • bypass it with a straight pipe
