What We Do

Tuning built for how trucks actually run

Two core programs, calibrated per engine and EPA year. Every tune is dialed for reliability first — we don't push power that risks your engine or transmission.

01

Performance TuningPOWER · TORQUE

Fleet-safe power upgrades with smoother engine operation. Choose the power level you want — calibrated to stay safe for daily use.

02

Economy TuningMPG · EFFICIENCY

Fuel-economy calibration that can return measurable MPG gains while keeping every emissions component active and street-legal.

03

Turbo ConversionsVGT · TWIN-TO-SINGLE

VGT-to-fixed and twin-to-single turbo conversion tuning for older platforms — the ECM stops reporting actuator and turbo-speed codes.

04

Aftertreatment DiagnosticsDPF · EGR · DEF · SCR

Off-road / closed-course aftertreatment calibration for competition and equipment use. See the compliance note below before ordering.

05

Heavy EquipmentOFF-HIGHWAY

Construction and off-highway equipment tuning — the same precision calibration applied to non-road diesel platforms.

06

Custom CalibrationBUILT PER ENGINE

Every tune is tailored to your specific platform, year, and goals — power, torque, or fuel economy — not a one-size-fits-all file.

How It Works

Four steps, zero downtime

Everything is done online. You stay with your truck; we connect to your laptop and handle the calibration remotely.

STEP 01

Hook Up

Connect to the truck's diagnostic port with a supported adapter (we recommend the Nexiq USB Link).

STEP 02

Share Access

Send us your TeamViewer ID and password so we can securely reach your laptop.

STEP 03

We Tune

We read the ECM, apply the calibration you ordered, and verify it — usually in about an hour.

STEP 04

Back to Work

Calibration is written, codes are cleared for the work performed, and you're ready to roll.

Why ECM Tune Up

Done right the first time

Our motto since day one: keep the customer satisfied and the customer comes back. That's how a tuning shop survives 23 years in this market.

A

Custom Per Engine

Every tune is tailored to your platform and goals — horsepower, torque, or fuel economy — not a one-size file.

B

Reliability First

We deliberately hold back power that could damage an engine or transmission. Fleet-safe is the default, not an upsell.

C

No Hard Parts Required

Keep your standard turbo. Our calibrations don't require mechanical changes to deliver results.

D

Real Remote Support

You're never tuning blind. We're on the connection with you for the whole session.

Questions

Straight answers

The things owners and operators ask most. Want something that isn't here? Reach out and we'll walk you through it.

ECM tuning means modifying the software inside the engine control module to change how the engine behaves — adjusting fuel and other parameters to improve power, throttle response, and fuel economy on your platform.
Entirely online. You connect to the truck with a diagnostic adapter (a Nexiq USB Link works across all brands), then give us remote access to your laptop through TeamViewer. We handle the calibration from there — no downtime.
A laptop, an internet connection, and a supported diagnostic adapter. We recommend the Nexiq USB Link since it works with every major brand. In nearly all cases we connect through the truck's standard 6- or 9-pin Deutsch diagnostic port.
We stand behind our calibrations. If a tune we wrote causes an issue, we address it right away or refund you. It does not cover ECM hardware failure, manufacturer software updates, or readout/cracking attempts.
No. Our calibrations work with your standard VGT/VNT turbo. If you specifically want a turbo conversion, we offer that as a separate service that does involve a hardware swap.
All major brands — Cummins, CAT, Detroit Diesel, Volvo, Mack, Paccar, International, Hino and more — across model years from the mid-2000s to current, and every EPA standard in that range.
DEF is Diesel Exhaust Fluid (called UREA or AdBlue in Europe). DPF is the Diesel Particulate Filter. DOC is the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst. SCR is the catalyst used on EPA10 and newer trucks. EGR is Exhaust Gas Recirculation.

⚠ Emissions & Off-Road Compliance

Aftertreatment-delete calibrations (DPF/EGR/DEF/SCR) are offered strictly for closed-course competition, off-road, and non-road equipment use where permitted by law. Removing or disabling emissions equipment on vehicles operated on public roads is prohibited under the U.S. Clean Air Act and many state laws. It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure their use complies with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Performance and economy tunes that keep all emissions components active are available for on-road use.
